Aims

The Journal of Mathematical Models and Methods in Engineering (JMMME) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal committed to advancing the frontiers of applied mathematics and engineering science. The journal serves as a premier forum for the dissemination of high-quality original research that bridges rigorous mathematical theory and real-world engineering practice.

JMMME publishes contributions from researchers, academics, and engineers worldwide, covering a broad spectrum of mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, and computational methodologies applied to complex engineering challenges. The journal is published semi-annually, with two volumes per year and two issues per volume, ensuring timely and continuous dissemination of scientific progress.

By fostering collaboration between mathematicians and engineers, JMMME aims to be an indispensable resource that accelerates innovation, informs engineering practice, and contributes to the sustainable development of science and technology on a global scale.

Objectives

The journal pursues the following key objectives:

1.  To publish fundamental and applied research on mathematical modeling, numerical methods, and computational techniques that address complex problems in all major fields of engineering, including civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, and environmental engineering.

2.  To advance the development and validation of new mathematical models that accurately describe physical, chemical, and biological phenomena relevant to engineering systems, contributing to the deepening of theoretical foundations in applied mathematics.

3.  To promote the application of analytical and numerical methods — including finite element analysis, differential equations, optimization theory, probability and statistics, and computational fluid dynamics — to solve emerging and interdisciplinary engineering problems.

4.  To facilitate international scientific exchange by providing an open-access platform that connects researchers, academic institutions, and engineering practitioners across different countries, enabling the global dissemination of innovative findings.

5.  To support the integration of modern computational tools and simulation technologies — such as machine learning-assisted modeling, data-driven methods, and high-performance computing — into engineering research and practice.

6.  To contribute to the scientific and educational mission of TIIAME National Research University by cultivating a research culture that links academic excellence with practical engineering solutions relevant to Uzbekistan and the broader Central Asian region.

7.  To uphold the highest standards of scientific integrity and peer review, ensuring that all published works meet rigorous criteria of originality, methodological soundness, and practical significance, thereby maintaining the journal's credibility within the international scientific community.
